The Villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private swimming pool, a north facing garden, a north facing patio area, a north facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting

Geography

Jamaica is an island in the West Indies, 90 mi (145 km) south of Cuba and 100 mi (161 km) west of Haiti. It is a little smaller than Connecticut. The island is made up of coastal lowlands, a limestone plateau, and the Blue Mountains, a group of volcanic hills, in the east.

Currency, Banks and Cash

Here in Jamaica we use the Jamaican dollar as our currency.

Licensed cambio centers and commercial banks are accessible in all resort areas. The official currency exchange rates vary daily, so it’s advisable to shop around for the best rate before converting your cash. Most Jamaican ATMs accept international bank cards with Visa, MasterCard, Cirrus and Plus logos. Banks also give credit card advances, change traveler’s checks among other financial services.

Electricity

Electric power in Jamaica is almost the same as in the United States and Canada. In Jamaica it is 110-120v at 50 hz.
